Who's there?

Hello there! My name is Max, software developer based in Hamburg, Germany.

As you can see from the projects I worked on, my interests span over a variety of technologies and domains. My background is media informatics (computer science with focus on media), which I finished my bachelors and masters in. While my background is in engineering, I see myself as a creative with knowledge of technologies, software development, and human-computer-interaction.

What is the purpose of this project?

This small website project has multiple goals.

First, it serves as a portfolio to show what my development interests and experiences are. This includes private projects which I built in my free time, study projects which were part of my time as a graduate at the university, and lastly, works that have originated from a professional context.

Second, I like to see what's happening in the field of web development and try to keep somewhat updated on current developments. A description of this website project and its iterations can be found among the other projects.

What's coming next?

Currently, I work as Creative Software Developer at Demodern in Hamburg. Nevertheless, I am always open for challenges and projects. Right now, I am interested in creative coding, game development, interactive experiences, mixed reality, and sustainability.
